October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During that month, we participated in the “Brakes for Breasts” program and gave FREE Brake Padsto anyone that came in for a brake job and needed pads. Brakes for Breasts is a fundraiser that is done every October. Through this fundraiser, they donate all the money raised to the Cleveland Clinic which is working right now on a vaccine to prevent breast cancer. Dr. Touhy, who runs the clinic, believes that they are within 1 year of taking the 1st breast cancer vaccine to trial. That is big news for the community!

We donated a portion of every brake job to the clinic, which came to over $1200.00! Thank you to everyone that participated. Oh, I almost forgot – Everyone that participated also was put into a drawing to win a SPA Package. Our winner was Gary F., and he (and/or his wife) will be relaxing at the Cibola Vista Spa on us!
We are so Honored to be given this flag from our Armed Forces
Partnering with Phoenix Body Works and other local businesses, we are part of a program to supply a vehicle that has been refurbished (both on the outside and inside) to a soldier in need. Action Auto Repair is more than happy to donate our time and resources for this worthy cause through theWounded Warrior Project and the Friends of Freedom Organization.
